Doctor Babor has launched The Cure Cream, a skincare formula powered by the brand’s trademarked Biogen Plant Extract.

The brand’s founder and chemist, Dr. Michael Babor, discovered the ingredient over 65 years ago. The Cure Cream’s formula is inspired by biogenesis, which is the theory that living things boost other living organisms to regenerate and create new structures.

The Cure Cream contains a combination of 8 medically proven biogenic plant based extracts sourced from around the globe for intense, active effect:

·        Rosemary to stimulate and delivery antioxidant effects

·        Ginseng reduces inflammation, boosts hydration and protects the skin barrier

·        Nettle prized for its anti-irritant effect

·        Figwort to balance the skin

·        Watercress superfood with active anti-irritant properties

·        Agrimony promotes skin regeneration

·        Earth smoke naturopathic herb that treats various skin diseases

·        Bladderwrack rich in soothing abilities

Combined, these potent ingredients activate the skin’s own self-renewing process, energizing its ability to calm, balance and support natural collagen production and transform it to the healthiest state and appearance possible. It’s a potent solution for all skin types, the brand says.

The sleek silver jar has a matte finish—and an upscale look.

The Cure Cream is sold on the brand’s website, and online at Amazon and Nordstrom. It’s also in Bloomingdales, Saks, Neiman Marcus—and other prestige retailers.
